Challenge
With a severe weather season forecast for Queensland’s Summer, we needed to get people prepared for these potentially damaging events before they struck.
Solution
Queensland weather is dangerous and unpredictable - it doesn’t have a plan. Our campaign aimed to give Queenslanders one, with the help of Get Ready Queensland ambassador, NRL star Johnathan Thurston.
Our above the line campaign posed a series of weather risks, highlighting the fact these events won’t ask for your permission first - so you’d better be ready.
People were driven online where they could find planning information and tips to prepare them for weather emergencies.
Results
Over 1 million unique users reached through socials, with over 50,000 people clicking through to the emergency plan tool that Khemistry designed and built in collaboration with the QRA team.
